Mother's day is getting so special now that the girls are getting older. Danika has been counting down to mothers day for the past couple of weeks. The morning started off by the girls locking me in my room (so nice!) while they helped daddy make me breakfast. The table was beautifully set with a pile of presents next to it. Danika made me some beautiful flowers, and then at school she made me a beautiful card, a potted stargazer lily and then Adessa painted some rocks and seashells and wrapped them up for me to open.
We then went to church and afterwards went for lunch and met an amazing family who has fostered 5 special needs children and then had gone on to adopt them all. It was very inspiring!
Then my wonderful husband dropped me off at winners where I met my good friend Caroline and we shopped for a couple hours while the men took the girls to the park. We came home to my crock pot roast and veggies, then took the kids up to the park where Danika really got comfortable on her bike without training wheels! It was a wonderful day, and to top it all off Amara gave her first giggles tonight!!!
