She came home with all sorts of treats, cookies and cards. It turned out to be quite a good morning!
This afternoon during Adessa's nap time Danika and I went outside to do some serious gardening. We tried to start a burn pile (key word.. tried!) but after much struggle, and gasoline we had no success... seriously can't figure out how both neighbors had one going, there stuff had to be as wet as mine! Anyways since meeko kindly "trimmed" my roses in the backyard, we set to work on the front yard and had quite a lot of fun. Danika took quite a few of my trimmings and re-planted them in my flower beds or pots (as seen in the picture below) We found a lot of worms in which Danika really wanted to "trim" them all too, however I said no!
A cute moment of our time outside was when Danika asked what the boxes were called at the front of our house and I told her they were flower beds in which she replied sweetly, "oh right, that's where the flowers sleep!"
When Adessa woke up from her nap we had a quick play date with some friends and then after dinner drove daddy to drop off a truck at the mechanics. We have been on the hunt for a little work truck for Steve for a while now, and really hope we find "the one" soon!
This is post trim, I wish I took one pre-trim!
